Edale Semi Skyline

A Cheeky 5 Moor Ethels
Lotte, Serena and Chris are co-leading a challenging walk to the west of Buxton. It includes roughly 900 metres of ascent over 23 km/14.3 miles. A strenuous one!

Book Club #15 Prophet Song
Our next book is Prophet Song by Paul Lynch, winner of the 2023 booker prize, a dystopian novel inspired by the Syrian refugee crisis, Prophet Song is notable for having a unique writing style, for anyone new to the book club, we go to the pub and have an informal chat about the book and any other interesting questions that it raises, if we get a lot of people, we might split into smaller groups of 3 or 4 and then mix it up halfway through.

A Midsummer Nice Stream

It’s another summer day trip! This time John will be leading a 10mile walk around the beautiful Ilkley Moor infamous for the Yorkshire Anthem ‘On Ilkley Moor bar t’hat’. A little outside our usual stomping ground and an exciting adventure complete with famous tea rooms and rock formations!
Bamford Edge Circular
Join Molly on a 6 mile circular walk from Bamford across Ladybower Reservoire before walking up to Bamford Edge.
Expedition to the Summit of Kinder
Join David on a strenuous, rocky, sambling walk up the unclimbed summit of Kinder Scout at 636m.
