Full description: We meet at the Summer House near Dore & Totley station for a coffee and a chat. Then we depart on the West part of Sheffield Round Walk, through Ecclesall Woods, Whirlow and Ringinglow Road to the Porter Brook trail. If there's considerable interest, we visit the Mayfield Alpacas Farm. Then we descend to Forge Dam Cafe to sip an afternoon coffee and to have a comfort break. The last part is an easy walk down to Endcliffe Park Cafe, our end point.
Public transport or car sharing options: Dore & Totley station is accessible by train from Sheffield railway station and the Hope valley line. Buses 97 and 98 stop there, also the 218.
At the end point, Endcliffe Park, a number of buses stop: the 65, 81, 82, 83, 88 and the 272.
If you come by car to the start point, from the Endcliffe Park Cafe end point it is a quarter an hour walk to the Psalter Lane / Stretton Road bus stop, where you can take bus 218 to Dore & Totley station. Check the timetable upon arrival as this is not a frequent bus service.

Please note: Sheffield 20’s and 30’s Walking Group is part of the Ramblers, a registered charity. All of our leaders are volunteers. Everyone is welcome to join us on our walks, there is no need to contact us in advance, and as long as you have a place on our Meetup booking system you can just show up. Non-members can come on up to 3 walks before joining the group. After 3 walks, we require you to sign up as a Ramblers member for insurance purposes.
