Full description: A classic! From Bamford station we will make our way straight up to Stanage Edge in search for fabulous views over the Peaks. We will then walk along the edge before descending and making our way back to Bamford via Bamford Edge. A perfect chilled out walk for a Sunday afternoon - but one that still requires appropriate footwear! Bring lunch - we may eat as soon as we have tackled the ascent - and a blanket and a book, as we will stop for a bit at the top of Stanage Edge.

Please note: there is a warning for ticks in the area. If you wear shorts, make sure to inspect your body surface at the end ;-)

Public transport or car sharing options: Take the 12.14 from Sheffield station, arriving in Bamford at 12.35. If you are driving, you can park for free at the station.
