Full description: 

One of the highlights of the year: the annual pub hunt! Seeing four teams trying to make it to the pub first (four pubs in total) with plenty of added challenges and point-winning opportunities on the way. Please note this is not a running event, nor will you be able to use public transport. We are a walking group after all!

To elaborate a little more, each team is given a map and a clue to a pub and the aim of the game is to figure out the clue and get your team to the pub first to score the most points. However, this is not the only way to score points. There are many other ways to score, as you are on route and at the pubs. Still not clear? Don’t worry, everything will be explained on the day.

Each member of the winning team will win a prize. I would like to encourage you to choose your own team, but no worries if not (we can put you in a team on the day). I would also like to mention that although we are going to pubs, this event does not involve drinking alcohol.

The distance is roughly 9.5 miles and there are 24 spaces available (4 teams of 6 people). Bookings will open on 1st July. There is a cost of £5 each to cover prize money.
