It’s that time of the year!

Time to put aside the muddy boots and throw on something a little more fancy for an unforgettable evening of celebration. Join us on Saturday 19th July for the SWG annual summer party 🥳

We are heading to the Victoria in Kelham - the newest gem from the award-winning team at the Mowbray and Chimney House - where there will be copious amounts of food, drinks and fun to be had! (https://thevictoriasheffield.com/)

There will be feasting, celebration, fun and games and maybe even some dancing depending where the night takes us!

This is not one to miss and will be the highlight of the socials calendar. Sign ups open Monday 5th May at 6pm and spaces are limited - tickets are £40 pp and you must be a Ramblers member to attend.

Food:

As the chefs at the Victoria work with seasonal ingredients - the menu is usually confirmed close to the time of the event. But expect plenty of high quality food. A typical feasting menu might look like:

Mowbray-made rosemary & sea salt focaccia (v, ve, g)

The Main Event

Church Hill Farm Chicken roast with lemon, garlic & thyme

Sweet roasted garlic aioli (v)

For our vegetarian and vegan guests; a seasonal pie such as spiced cauliflower, spinach & feta (v, g, ve) (This is TBC)

Sides to share

British new potatoes roasted with garlic & rosemary (v, ve)

Plus two seasonal sides such as chargrilled broccoli with smashed tomato dressing, crunchy house slaw, roasted squash with radicchio

To finish

Mowbray PAV; crisp meringue topped with fresh cream & seasonal fruits & berries (v)
