“The North” is shot on Scotland’s West Highland Way and Cape Wrath Trail, perhaps making it the ultimate hiking film. It tells the story of two friends who walk those 600km, reconnecting after years apart while facing the physical and emotional challenges of the trail. Measuredly paced, the film lets viewers fully immerse themselves in the rhythm of long-distance walking, exploring friendship, self-discovery, and the quiet revelations that emerge along the way.
