It’s a twist on a classic this year, with our annual egg hunt changing location to start in Baslow!
How does it work?
We start with chocolate, finding out which team you’ll be in! We’ll have 6 randomised teams of 5, with at least one walk leader in each.
You’ll be given a map and instructions on finding your “eggs”, and off you go! The aim? Find all your eggs and make your way to the end in the fastest time, this time with an added twist to be revealed on the day. We’ll be staggering the start times, so we won’t know who’s won until the end!
The winning team will be rewarded with a big egg each, along with all the glory associated with winning one of SWG’s most hotly anticipated events.

The cost for this event is £4. Please provide your email address when signing up so we can contact you with payment details. Your place will be confirmed once payment has been received.
Refunds Policy:
Once payment has been made to the SWG account, no refunds can be given. Tickets are transferable between SWG members as an alternative to refunds)
Public transport or car sharing options:
The 218 bus leaves Sheffield Interchange at 09:40 to arrive in Baslow for 10:19. Alternatively, get the 09:10 and prepare yourself with a coffee before the hunt!
