Join us for a (gentle) book club 2026 relaunch!

There is no book to read before this meeting but there is some thinking to do! Here are some things to ponder:

• Do you have anything on your reading list that you think the group would enjoy?

• What have you read before that was so excellent you’d read it again?

• Can you get a recommendation from a trusted friend or family member?

• Did you get any books for Christmas that you could do with an excuse to read?

• What don’t you want to read? This might be useful to have in mind when someone (me) suggests a load of random books they got for Christmas

I haven’t quite worked out the process but by the end of the evening the goal is to have chosen our next two books and to have a handy backlog of suggestions that we can draw upon in the future.
