Calling all SWG Walks Leaders, new and old – this social is for you!

Get together with other walk leaders to help plan walks, swap notes on routes, and share ideas! This is the space where amazing new paths get explored and creative ways of enjoying the outdoors are planned!

We have the upstairs room at The Fat Cat booked out just for us, so what better way to spend an evening than chatting all things walks over a drink and a map.

If you’ve never led a walk with the group but want to find out more about leading, please do join us. You can pair up with more experience walk leaders to plan your walk and chat with your Safety & Training Officer to learn how to become a walk leader 🙂

This will also be a good opportunity to pick up any maps you may want to borrow, as well compasses, first aid kits etc that you may need for your next walk. Please put any requests into the Meetup chat.

If possible, please come prepared with a couple of walks ideas/suggestions, and your availability, so we can start filling in the late Winter/Spring walks calendar.

No time to cook dinner? No problem, The Fat Cat serves food until 8pm.
