Full description: This will be a gently paced walk around the following Fox House landmarks namely; Owler Tor, Mothers Cap, Higger Tor, and Burbage Bridge, before finally looping back to Fox House. We’ll aim to be back for the 3pm bus, although there is the option to stop at Fox House for refreshments. This walk will take the direct route from Owler Tor up to Mothers Cap, this route can be muddy and steep even in good weather so waterproof shoes and caution is advised. Light rain is expected so please bring some kind of waterproof or mac.
Public transport or car sharing options: The 272 bus leaves Sheffield interchange at 11.08am and arrives at 11.44am. There is also the 65 and 272 arriving 10.08 and 10.19 respectively if you want to explore the Longshaw Estate before the walk.
Return: 3PM bus from Fox House with later busses if you choose to stay
