Full description:
For the full experience join us for a very scenic (and very hilly) parkrun, followed by a coffee at the Timber Yard Café. More details here: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/lymepark/
Don't fancy an early start? You can also join just for the hike at 10:30. We'll be doing a loop around the south side of Lyme Park, taking in iconic landmarks such as Andrew's Knob, some 10th century crosses, and the Lantern (a pretty tower thing) as well as some lovely autumnal views of Cheshire and Derbyshire. If you are so inclined, the national trust house at Lyme park is open until 8, otherwise we will finish back at the café for an overpriced cup of tea (optional).
Public transport or car sharing options:
A tricky one for public transport unfortunately. Car parking at Lyme Park is free for national trust members. Please arrange car shares in the Meetup comments.
