Full description:
This is a quieter area, suited for anyone who like to get away to a peaceful spot (if the weather is good to us!). There will be bog/mud and the paths will be small and indistinct in parts of the route, so sturdy boots are recommended. There are no easy opportunities to exit the route when we are up on the moor as it’s further away from a road than other places in the Peak District.
We’ll be starting at Derwent Dam, heading along the east side of the reservoir and ascending up Howden Clough. Then we’ll head up over Margery Hill and Lost Lad viewpoint before descending back to the dam and the car park. Please see this link for the exact route.

Public transport or car sharing options:
There is no public transport to the start point. I will be driving and can take four passengers from Sheffield, I’ll arrange this in the Meetup comments. Please put a comment in if you’d be driving and able to give a lift to others.
