Full description:

A full loop of Kinder with a scramble start.

Starting from Edale we follow main track to upper booth. Then unlike Jacob we will not use a ladder and thus avoid its transport curse. Instead we head straight up Crowden Clough which is a scramble (all be it an easy one). Once at the top we head clockwise round Kinder hitting all three trig points and Kinder Downfall before down the Nab to Ramblers beer garden for food and refreshments.

Public transport or car sharing options:

10:14 train to Edale with returns hourly well into the evening. Walk leader will be on the train so the walk will start when train arrives, if slightly delayed (or something else hastily planned if the train is cancelled).

Extra info: This will be a fast-paced walk (requiring a good level of fitness), This will be a muddy or boggy walk (requiring sturdy walking boots).

Be prepared:

Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year, with enough layers, sun protection if required, a waterproof, and food and water. Further information on what to bring can be found on our website here:
