Full description: Starting at Hathersage, we'll head north in the general direction of Stanage Edge, pausing to see Bronte Cottage and North Lees Hall (the latter being the inspiration for Thornfield Hall in Jane Eyre).

Then it's up along the top (north-westerly direction) of Stanage Edge for a spell, to drop down at Crow Chin. Then, it's back along the bottom of the rocks, heading out the other way past Robin Hood's Cave and Cowper Stone.

A quick visit to Higger Tor since it's right there, and then we're heading back to Hathersage for the most important part of any walk: going to the pub.

Public transport or car sharing options: The 272 bus from Sheffield Interchange leaves at 8:30 and arrives in Hathersage at 9:10 (time for coffee!). The 8:14 train fro, Sheffield arrives in Hathersage at 9:32.

As always, please organise car sharing in the comments.
