Full description:
Beginning with the steep ascent of Grindslow Knoll, we then walk to Kinder Low, passing the Woolpacks. We then follow the Pennine Way to Kinder Downfall and Sandy Heys, before descending to Kinder Reservoir. Continuing to Hayfield, we pass the Twenty Trees viewpoint. Finally we walk to New Mills along the trackbed of the former Hayfield branch, now the Sett Valley Trail, taking a small detour through Bluebell Wood Nature reserve.
