Full description: Circular walk from Baslow taking in Birchen Edge and Nelson's Monument with a quick detour to the delightful Gardoms Edge. Route will be on a mix of paths and tracks including some rough and rocky steps that may require a little scrambling. And believe it or not there may be some boggy ground! Refreshment options are plentiful back in Baslow.

As ever bring everything you need for a full day out, appropriate clothes (waterproofs, sun hat sun glasses sun cream as required) and enough food and drink to keep you going.

Public transport or car sharing options: 218 bus from Sheffield Interchange 9:40 check times before travel. Pay and display parking is available at the Nether End car park in Baslow. Please post car shares in the Meet-up comments.
