Full description:

A classic circular route around the Vale of Edale. The route begins with a short but sharp ascent to Ringing Roger via the viewpoint at The Nab, then continuing westward over Crookstone Out Moor which offers great views in all directions. The return route takes the lower path via Jaggers Clough and Ollerbrook Farm.

The walk finishes at The Old Nags Head where hopefully the weather will allow us to take advantage of the beer garden for a little while. Edale railway station is a ten minute walk back down the road from here.

Public transport or car sharing options:

11:14 train from Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly
Car parking available near the station but space is limited so please arrange car shares in the Meetup comments.
