Our next book is Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, the famous (and polarising) Japanese author. It is a coming of age story set in 1960s Tokyo. What it has to do with Norway remains to be seen..

Last I checked none of the Sheffield libraries have a copy available but it is definitely easier to get hold of than our last book!

For anyone new to the book club, we go to the pub and have an informal chat about the book and any other interesting questions that it raises. If we get a lot of people, we might split into smaller groups of 3 or 4 and then mix it up halfway through.
