Full description:

From the historic village of Eyam, we'll head up Eyam Moor and around to Abney and Abney Moor. Depending on progress, we can stop at the Barrell Inn for refreshments at a pub with a fantastic view!

There will be fairly significant elevation climb on this walk ~ 590 metres, so a good level of fitness is required, along with suitable walking boots as some paths will be rocky, trainers are not suitable.

Outward: 65 Bus: 09:35 @ Sheffield Interchange -> 10:19 @ Eyam Square

Return: 257a bus: 16:20 @ Eyam Square OR
65 bus: 16:57 @ Eyam Square

Car parking available in Eyam, please consider car sharing, and park considerately in the village. Please arrange car shares in the Meetup Comments.

Be prepared:

Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream, etc).
