Full description:

We are getting a bit out of the beaten track to tick off (and possibly redeem?!) some of the least known Ethels across the Peak District! This means 1. We will be able to admire Mam Tor from an unusual South angle; 2. We will roam across some new moorlands; 3. We will likely get lost :-). No worries though: the Limestone Ways will always be in sight to provide some reassurance! This walk includes a significant ascent with several ups and downs, thus it requires a good level of fitness! Bring all you need for the day, including lunch, 2+ litres water, sunscreen and a hat.

Public transport or car sharing options:

Bus 272 leaves from Pond Street/Paternoster Row at 8:51 arriving in Castleton at 9.59. We will aim to return in time for the 16:23 to Sheffield - if not, we will wait in the pub for the 17:29
