Full description:
This walk includes some of the best of what the western side of Sheffield has to offer - ancient woodland, and both the Porter and Limb valleys. Starting in Millhouses park, we'll pass through Ecclesall woods to Whirlow, then cross over to the Porter valley and follow the brook to Ringlinglow, before heading back into Sheffield via the Limb brook. There is the option for a pub and/or cafe stop along the way, but please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water to keep you going.
Public transport or car sharing options:
Various buses run from Sheffield city centre to Millhouses, including the 97/98 along Abbeydale road, and 82 along Ecclesall road. The 97 bus leaving from Arundel gate at 9.08 should get you there for 9.30. Please check buses yourself in case of changes.
