Full description: A big circular walk from Bakewell, along the Monsal Trail to Monsal Dale, then up Deep Dale to Magpie Mine, down to Ashford in the Water and along the river back to Bakewell where we’ll definitely go to a pub!
Please bring lunch and plenty of water. We’ll stop somewhere suitable on the way for lunch. Please also bring waterproofs as it looks like it might be showery!
Public transport or car sharing options: 218 bus leaves Sheffield Interchange at 09:40 to arrive in Bakewell for 10:40. Please arrange lifts in the comments on Meetup.
Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream, etc).
