Full description: What could be better than watching a Gorilla, Elvis, Lady Penelope, and two halves of a Pantomime Donkey stride across the bridge in Chatsworth Park? To help make such a sight possible come join the Fancy Dress Walk! This will be a circular route into Chatsworth Park from Baslow that will be tailored to suit the characters that show up and the weather on the day.

FANCY DRESS IS NOT OPTIONAL! Be as creative as you like. No set theme, but perhaps take inspiration from something beginning with S W or G. (I will be trying to come up with something and not just use my gorilla costume).
Do bear in mind that whatever you decided to come as, you will still need to be able to walk safely through the countryside. Consider having a way to carry enough food and water for the day and be able to waterproof your self if needed. Think: Elvis with walking boots on or a T-Rex with a back pack.

Please tell others that maybe interested about this walk. Should be a good laugh. Practicalities will be shared nearer the time, and we will set up a WhatsApp group within the community.

Public transport or car sharing options: The 9:40 218 bus from Sheffield interchange to Baslow arrives at around 10:20. Return buses are at 5 past and 25 to the hour. Please car share where you can. Remember: Nether End Car Park is Pay and Display and can get busy on a weekend.
