‍Full description: Starting at the eastern Wadsley / Loxley Common car park on Rural Lane, we will stroll up through Wadsley and Loxley Common, which are both wooded / heathland nature reserves on the north-west of Sheffield. Bring your binoculars if you have them, as I will no doubt get distracted and point out interesting birds, butterflies and plants! Also bring snacks / a meal as we will stop for a picnic at the top. Returning to the car park downhill through the woodland

‍Public transport or car sharing options: Starting point is a 20 min walk from Middlewood tram stop. Otherwise please arrange car shares in the Meetup comments and plan for parking in advance.

Be prepared:

Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
