Matt has sadly left us however the SWG club lives on!

Our next book will be Demon Copperhead by Barbera Kingsolver. I'm told it is "a brilliant novel that enthralls, compels, and captures the heart as it evokes a young hero’s unforgettable journey to maturity." My mum also says it's very good.

For any newcomers, the general formula is we will break off into groups of 3 or 4 to chat about the book and any other interesting questions that is raises. We usually mix the groups up around half way through.

I am also keen to use this session to discuss what we want from the book club going forward. So if people have any ideas about where/when we meet and most importantly what books we read, please do come and share them!
