Full description:

Join us for a lovely walk through Bamford, over the stepping stones at Bamford Mill and up to Bamford Edge. Depending on time for people making it back for the return train, there is an option for a pub stop before heading back home.

This walk can be quite muddy, especially if it has been raining so be sure to dress appropriately and of course bring your own lunch. If the weather is good enough, we can enjoy our lunch up on Bamford Edge.

Please note this will be a muddy or boggy walk (requiring sturdy walking boots), This will be a fast-paced walk (requiring a good level of fitness).

Public transport or car sharing options:

The most reliable public transport to Bamford is the train from Sheffield. Please get the 11:15 train from Sheffield which arrives to Bamford for 11:38. There are also parking options for people who choose to drive.
