Full description:

Looking for a breath of sea air this spring? This gorgeous coastal route kicks off just a 2 hour train journey from Sheffield and takes us from the grounds of Sewerby Hall and Gardens via a lighthouse, undulating cliffs and tiny pocket beaches up to the beautiful RSPB reserve on Bempton Cliffs. From here some or all of the group may choose to take the bus back to Bridlington or wander back across the headland on foot towards a suitable pub for some well-earned refreshment.
It promises to be a seaside day trip to remember!

There is no official accommodation or overnight arrangements but there are plenty of campsites and places to stay should anyone choose to make a full weekend of it!

Public transport or car sharing options:

There are excellent public transport options with a direct train from Sheffield through to Bridlington leaving Sheffield station at 07:56 and arriving 10:02 - we will wait for this train to arrive and for people to walk from the station to the Limekiln Carpark north of the town. There is the 504 bus from Bempton High Street back to Bridlington Bus Station at 19:00 for anyone wishing to take the slightly shorter route. Return trains to Sheffield are at 18:39, 19:39, 20:41 and 21:55.

Car sharing should be arranged in the Meetup comments. Driving takes approximately 2.5hours so please be sure to set off in plenty of time.
