Totley Moor and Blacka Woods Evening Walk

Date: Friday 3rd July

Start time: 6.30pm

Start: Fox House (S11 7TY)

Finish: Fox House (S11 7TY)

Distance: 5.5 Miles

Difficulty: Leisurely

Walk Description: Nothing too strenuous for a Friday evening walk. Starting at Fox House, we head out onto the leisurely paths of Totley Moor, giving us views of Sheffield and beyond. We then circle back round through Blacka Moor woods, before briefly heading onto Burbage Moor and back to Fox House. Then it’s time for a well earned drink at Fox House (hopefully outside).

Public Transport: There is a 272 bus that leaves Sheffield Interchange platform D2 at 5.45pm that will arrive at Fox House at 6.21pm. Please check bus times yourself as they may change.

Drivers: For people driving you can park in or near Fox House.

Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream, etc). Further information on what to bring can be found on our website here: https://www.sheffieldwalkinggroup.org.uk/be-prepared

Please note: Sheffield Millennial Walkers are a sister group to the Sheffield 20’s and 30’s Walking Group who are part of the Ramblers, a registered charity. All of our leaders are volunteers. Everyone is welcome to join us on our walks. New members can come on up to 3 walks before joining the group. After 3 walks, we require you to sign up as a Ramblers member for insurance purposes. More information about the group can be found at https://www.sheffieldwalkinggroup.org.uk/.
