Don your Santa hat (strongly advised) and bring your along your festive cheer, because Christmas is just around the corner! We will then drop down to Treak Cliff Cavern where we will stop for some underground ‘Carols by Candlelight’ in the caves, followed by mince pies and mulled wine afterwards. It’s then just a short downhill saunter to Castleton where you can enjoy the Christmas lights before catching the bus home.

Tickets for the carols are £15 and must be purchased in advance, which can be done from here https://bluejohnstone.com/online-booking/.

This entitles you to entrance into cavern, the carols, mince pies and mulled wine, and a small torch (to keep).  Tickets for the carols are limited so booking early is advised. ***You are responsible for purchasing your own ticket.***

Please wear suitable sturdy footwear and bring plenty of warm clothes including waterproofs. Please also bring packed lunch and something to drink.

If you are unable to join for the walk but would like to join for the carols you are very welcome to meet us at Treak Cliff Cavern at 1.30pm.
