Welcome to SWG

We are a social walking club based in Sheffield. We go on walks every weekend in the nearby countryside; we have social meetups of various kinds; and we organise short weekend trips to further areas such as the Lake District.

We welcome new members so please book onto a walk or social, or come along to our new members night and we'll introduce you some people who enjoy doing the same things as you. Have a look round the website to see more of what we do and how you can join in.

The group has been in existence since July 2002 and has been steadily growing ever since (at the last count the membership was around 250). We are part the Ramblers, the walking charity and their ever-growing network of 20s and 30s groups around the country.
