Come and explore how a typical 100 year old Sheffield terrace house has been made more eco-friendly and how to reduce your energy bills. We take a private tour of the South Yorkshire Energy Centre in Heeley.

Sailing the Seven Seas
Well, the Sheffield to Tinsley canal actually. It’s been a few years since SWG took to the water, so it’s about time we had a revisit! We go aboard a new boat (much more spacious than the last time!) for a private evening cruise down the beautiful (?!) Sheffield canal on a heritage tour lasting around 1hr 50mins.

No, not a tribute band or a rare breed - Sheffield's own rugby league team! Ever been to a rugby match? Well I haven't so we're heading to Don Valle yStadium to watch a bunch of testosterone-fuelled hunks of men with their firm thighs and broad shoulders (any girls coming now?) thrash the pants off Gateshead Thunder.

End of the month Pub Session at the Riverside

An evening of culture for you heathen lot... We take a look at two of the summer exhibitions (A Bird in the Hand by Timorous Beasties, and Out of the Ordinary: A Spectacular Craft) in the Millennium Galleries and swan around the Winter Gardens taking advantage of the evening opening hours.
