Publicity
Jon Holman is our publicity officer, and works tirelessly to spread the word on the walking group to anybody in and around Sheffield who might enjoy the group's activities. Among the media Jon has put to this use are:

However, Jon knows that as well as himself there are plenty of creative and talented people in the group who would enjoy contributing to the awareness campaign. So if anybody has a way with words and would like to pen an article themselves, please do so! Here are a few ideas for subjects suggested by Jon:
- a walk witnessing the dawn chorus
- stumbling across a badger sett
- a rare sighting of a red kite or osprey in Yorkshire
Or really, anything which is interesting, captivating and attention-grabbing. Please send contributions or suggestions to Jon at the usual committee address; interesting photographs from walks are of course very much welcomed as well (but make sure the subject of the photo is OK with it of course).
