A walk through woods and fields exploring Sherwood Forest and Rufford Country Park with ruins of a 12th Century monastery. Starting from Rufford Mill we head to Edwinstone village and then into Robin Hood Territory following forest tracks and passing the Major Oak. We return to via Rufford Abbey and sculpture gardens and a bit of bird watching on the lake.

As it was nearly pancake day we cooked some for lunch.
