After a long drive down, it was a pleasure to arrive at a really nice bunkhouse. With great facilities, including a very grand dining room and vast (and well equipped) kitchen, the weekend started shaping up nicely. The attached [public] bar was the icing on the cake: Besides the good beer, there was a vast range of amusements to choose from, so the hardest part of the evening was deciding whether to play pool, table football, billiards or darts. The various cars arrived from Sheffield at odd intervals, but everyone managed to find the place, and settle in.
